Lookwise, it is awesome. The leather ito is really high quality and the blades I examined were very sharp. As far as durability....no reports either way yet. I would say this is more of a showpiece....

well im not a modern day samurai haha not looking for a blade to cut things with since im very careful and anal about keeping things new. im just trying to see if the "copper look" is not something that can wash off after a few blade detailing sessions. i am looking for something to show off and swing around my room acting retarded. im very infatuated with the blade, but there are a few things im skeptical about like the tsuba: it may be the way it looks on the picture but it looks a bit "cheesy" not sure i may be wrong. i know i get what i pay for but i just would like to know about it first. thanks a lot for the information if you could add any more info whenever you could it would be greatly appreciated and ensure a sale

The tsuba of the one I handled was very cheesy and was easily the most disappointing part of the whole piece.

that is what i feared.....however would there be any way to replace it?
and what about the cleaning part; would polishing it up ruin the copper tone coat? what about cutting woult that waer it off?

It is possible, but unknown. Like I said, if it is used as a showpiece, there would be no need for polishing.

yea i guess your right. this will be a harder decision than i predicted....still between this beautiful but minorly flawed sword and the folded ikusa which i have heard no negativity of
