I may keep this one for awhile.I like her.Good family, not a stripper, and her motto for us is"It's not good s*x if nobody gets injured!".We'll see.Of course,in my world everything can change in the blink of an eye.The wife and I reconciled for four days last month, and this gal got her feelings hurt pretty badly(So did I,for that matter). So when I come walking (never crawl)back into it she is cautious......
Interestingly, she is starting nursing school in January, and will be drinking all the beer on fight night.
Our style head(Grandmaster)will be there in my corner,too.Wow.....this started out as a whim I was just indulging....Tony
We will both be in the tattoos thread soon......her samurai backpiece is really shaping up!

Tony,
Sounds as if you are living the soap opera life there. #-o
Put your girl in your corner, make sure she is drinking bottles not cans, that way she can bop him if he gets too close to the corners (cans just collapse!)
Knew a guy, he kept his girl in the stands, she used to flash his opponents to distract them, so he could win! (true story!)
Really looking forward to the posts in the tattoo thread section!! :ohyeah:

Yes Sir,my life is pretty bizarre.I lived this s#$% out in the 70s,80s,and 90s into 2003;I thought I was pretty well settled until this past August.
Then again, there is something to be said for the excitement.
Love the story about the distraction!I can get a whole army of strippers in there(Yes-it's been one of those Autumns....).
Frankly,I want to have fun,and I have to live in the reality handed me each day upon awakening;but I miss the serenity I had a year ago,the security.Or the sense of such.....

More of my drivel;I know a small amount of my bros and elders business on here;am I correct in the idea that we really do create our reality by the choices we make-or is there a chaos principal?
When I stand in the cage-I have lobbied to fight an undefeated dude that has knocked out several with his striking game.I truly believe I can take him,I think in each match he has intimidated his opponent and just bullied them.He is 60-70 pounds heavier and several inches taller;but he leads with his head and swings these looping punches.Looks like a caught punch and a bloodchoke,or wristlock into an armbar to me.
I have buried my most beloved, and had one emotional trauma after another all my life-this cat can do what?Break my arm?I hit him with the other one.It is hard to be afraid when you are one of us,am I right?BobO??Dotanukisan?I say this humbly in deference to my seniors' many years of training, but still ask-where does the fear go?
Or is it merely a death wish?Enough pain?Physical pain is nothing to me but a nuisance.I still laugh at the reaction I get from people telling them about passing that large kidneystone with no help from meds or surgery. But what about the emotional trauma?
Do we fear that?If so-why create more situations in which we might have to endure pain?
I know that I never, ever, ever want to give up on people-the one thing I know I fear is Me-giving up on myself. Then it IS over.
Love and respect,Brothers

Fear!
What most people don't realise, fear is just a perception!
Whenever we enter a conflict, whether life-threatening or not, Our body reacts granting us energy for the fight (adrenaline!). Many people feel this increase in heartbeat and increased perception and percieve it to be fear, when it is anything but. It is God giving you increased energy for your conflict!
Perception!!
It is all in the way you look at it! Perception!!
Throughout my life people have always told me I was different! That I had no fear! I asked them to explain to me what they felt when experiencing what they thought was fear!
It was the same thing I felt! I just percieved it to be something different, God giving me energy for the fight!
Fear is the inevibility of a loved one's death, Or those you care about suffering.
Lets see, the guy has never lost, knocks people out, and is bigger than you. Also much younger!
Believe me, he is more afraid of a wild maniac like you! You have nothing to lose! Nobody expects you win! Everything is in your favor!
Your life experiences next to his, he is just a chump.
Anybody can lose, there are no quarantee's in life.
Mike Tyson got his *** kicked in jail, lost his confidence, and was never the same. No doubt, thought he was invincible, somebody forgot to tell the other guy that!
I met Bill "Superfoot" Wallace once, he is just a little guy (looks big in the movies), seen him spar with Dolpf Lungren (Rocky) looked like a giant next to Bill, No contest! Within minutes, Bill showed him who the superior fighter was, Lungren spent his time running from Bill. It was supposed to be a friendly match.
I once trained with a guy that could of been Shaq's twin (A monster!).
Couldn't believe I kept relentlessly attacking him, (nobody ever did that before) had him thoroughly intimidated before the end of training, still is to this day.
Remember instinct, in all fights there is only movement and flow, let your training take over. With your life's experiences you will more likely hurt him seriously, than he you. It will be hard to remember it is only a match!
I would give anything to help you train for this fight!
Remember this also though;
The true test of one's character is not by how one handles victory, but how he handles defeat!
In all aspects of life!!!
I do believe we create our own destinies within life's Chaos! Both being inevitible!
Remember a true warrior very often fights for the pure thrill of fighting, he cares neither for victory or defeat, but the thrill of the fight!!

I won't add anything to that, but I will say this. I watched a big guy chase a mouse into a corner, the mouse having no where else to go, went running thru the guys legs. This big guy went spastic, fun to watch and a good life lesson.

Inevitable destiny.
Inevitable chaos.
I hear the truth in that statement-it resounds in my mind permeating into my heart.Aye-the thrill of the fight is where it all begins, ends, and begins anew;I am whom I am and must reset that often.
And it is always the same.Out of chaos comes order.
Bring it,Life.
Love and respect Tony

Bob-O,
Most times you corner a mouse or a rat, they will turn and attack. (last act of defiance?)
Had a friend of mine, (small guy) actually used that technique as part of his ground fighting game. Usually works, (catches them off guard!), but it only works once. (but a funny once)
I hate rodents! When I was young, I once worked in a warehouse that resembled that Stephen King movie about the rats. (can't remember the name of movie)
It was a old warehouse, the basement was full of standing water, old stock and boxes stacked to the ceiling. Only a few lights still left working, religious end of the world grafitti written on the walls.
When you went down the basement and turned on the lights (that were left) you could hear the skittering of hundreds of rats in the back rooms.
Sounded just like that old movie "Ben".
I am not exageratting in the least, truely scarey!!
Ah, life in an decaying urban city!
Had a friend lived a few blocks over from the shop, we used weld (braize) jigsaw teeth onto large rat traps, (large traps have no effect on sewer rats) to take them out. Poison makes them blow up from the inside and stink like hell!
Once my friend and I picked up a 55 gallon drum full of garbage to throw out. I thought a piece of garbage fell out onto my shoulder, when I stood up and turned my head to look and see, a sewer rat sitting on my shoulder looking back at me.
I jumped one way and he went the other, sewer rats are fearless.
As I said, I Hate Rats!

Just getting started on the rat experiences, scratching or nibbling at the surface. (pun intended)

Tony,
That's pretty much how I live my life, what would be worse, a fight (any), or a warehouse basement full of sewer rats?
It's how I put things into perspective! =))
Both are about laughing at it later! (though not maybe at the time!)

Not talking about the two legged rats, we start doing that and there will be no time to talk about swords and weapons.
Those type of conversations can take up a whole Forum!
Okay goose, spill it, I want to hear about this trial by rats thing.
Got me wondering, was it a bad courtroom experience? (Mickey Mouse Judge?) X(
Or were you strung up, with your head in a cage with a rat, like Chuck Norris in Missing in Action? :jawdrop:

I too worked in an old factory, built in the late 1700's ever hear of the Paterson colt? same factory complex. Built along the Passaic river in Paterson NJ to use the water power of the Paterson falls. Lots of tunnels and raceways to channel the water into the plants. River+ tunnels = big azz rats!
we used to put out traps , the big spring type, and passed the day catching and compareing the sizes caught. something to do you know.
Well this one day working with a bud, i bent over to pick up a piece of junk machinery from the moruge(old machine pile) as i strieghtened up with my piece, my bud had a horrifed look on his face, whereupon i looked at my right arm, there sat the biggest ugliest rat about six inches from my face , looking at me with his beadie eyes. i didn't jump cause of the absurdity of the situation, my buddy yelled something and the rat hopped off, since i didn't have time to show fear i played it down and was heralded as one cool dude! ( really if i had time to think i wouldda screamed like a woman!!!) I was then known far an wide (in da plant) as goose , that crazy white boy.

Back on Topic.
Tony,
Remember to train in the old style for this match!
The old style consists of no female companionship for at least a month!
(Better get busy, only a couple of days left!)
This old, tried and true technique will do 3 things for you;
1. Maintain your vital fluids and Ki!!!!
2. Make you meaner than a junkyard dog!!!
3. The next time you decide to take on a match, you will think back on that month and say "Hell No!!!!!"
I almost forgot number 4, if you get in one of those MMA mount positions, it will scare the hell out of your opponent. (especially if he knows of your training beforehand!) :sumo:
