What does anyone know about this sword?

How does it stack up against a Ryumon Practical or a Cheness Kaze?

I'm looking for a new katana, and I really like the looks of this, looks like lots of sword for the money... I'm confused by some of the language, does anyone know if the tsuka has a full samegawa wrap, or panels?

Basically, is this worth $100 more than the Ryumon or $50 more than the Kaze?

Welcome to the forum. I think Jason will have to answer the more detailed questions that you asked, but I am going to take a shot in the dark. I have not seen this sword in person, however it does appear to have some advantages in componets. The horn used for the saya is common only in your better swords, along with the silk sageo. It does state that it is folded and there is some hada shown in the pictures. Jason would have to look and see if it is a full same wrap. Most of the ones today including Ryumon are panel same as are the Cheness. So in components alone I would say it was a good sword for the money. Let Jason chime in here and give you an honest answer to your questions.

Sorry guys, I was going crazy here yesterday. The Katsumoto line is really nice and has many upgraded features compared to others in the same price range, but all same is paneled.
