I may be the only one but I actually had never Heard of Jody Samson before this thread. Holy shyt was I missing out!!! If i ever had a talent for sword making I would have loved to make pieces just like his, I love the skulls. Completely badass!

For anyone else like me who is unfamiliar with his work, heres a link to his 3 page gallery:

lol, you must have price shopped the site looking for what was still for sale just like I did. Then =( after you figured you didnt have the $1,200 just layin around.

Its true about the addicting part. Quality swords can be like a slow drug, always focusing on the next "fix" or the next higher quality than before blade. Just look at Gooseman, our buddy Goose is Really into the hard stuff lol, pure uncut Nihonto. Whew, the good stuff:ohyeah:!
Well maybe "uncut" wasnt the right word to use when relating to swords, but you get the point.

I'll still say swords are safer than drugs through. Yes, they're weapons made for killing but the negative statistics of drugs far outweigh long pointy blades. and many sword accidents involve BOTH! --FYI: swords + drugs = Samurai_Death.-- YOU'LL CUT YOUR F*(KING HEAD OFF!!!

Hey,
I got a engraver! Anybody interested in a Joe 'D' Samson original?

Ninja,
Not just drugs, but also alcohol, and ignorance is a recipe for disaster with any weapon!! :hahaskull:

Pure uncut Nihonto, I like that, as a true Nihonto is an object of art, you weren't too far off after all!! :)

I have a spectacular one of a kind Jody piece that is sadly going up for sale... single handed broadsword in his "Conan" style, brass antler quillion, double wolf skull pommel, cocobolo handle with silver pin work, a collection center piece I never imagined having to sell, e-mail for images and details if seriously interested.

warmly,

Macloud (macloud@adelphia.net)
