i'm getting ready to purchase another katana; the problem is i can't decide which one i want to get. the 3 i'm looking at are the Bushido Tatsu Katana, Bushi Uma Katana, or the Bushido Raijin Folded Katana. Which one should i get?

Sorry Hiead but those aren't the same, the one on You Tube has a different tsuba, different saya, brass mekugi, and different furniture. As for which of the 3 you listed, I think the Bushido Raijin is the best looking, though I would only cut light targets with it as the "folded" is more for aesthetic value rather than function. My second choice would be the Bushido Tatsu, I think the Bushido are better quality than the Bushi, especially the tsuba's and furniture, the tsuba on the Bushi Uma looks rough and not of good quality. But it is ultimately your choice, though if you plan on doing anything more than light cutting, I would save up and get a Paul Chen Practical Performance, the Bushido's are great for decoration, but when it comes to performance, Paul Chen's swords are the best production swords on the market.

i know. i was pointing it out because they look alike :) if he's after aethestics, he can brag with his uninitiated friends that his katana was at one point used by a master :-)

I am sorry, but I don't think that bamboo would be "equivalent to cutting through two human bodies". Maybe two starved human bodies...

i think i will go with the Bushido Raijin. I don't really cut anything with my katanas so it would be more for deco. Thanks guys for the input

Yeah that doesn't sound right, I was thinking more like two limbs, although :-? there was allot of famine in Japan, epically during winter, maybe he was talking about two severely starved peasants
