I have to say, if you are expecting anything else than Halo in buying this game, you will be sadly disappointed. I was expecting something more...
Graphics are better than Halo 2, but nowhere near the detail and awesomeness of Gears of War. The Gameplay is the exact same to be expected from the last two Halos. The story is passable, but I found myself nodding off or pressing the buttons to skip through. Me and my girlfriend finished this in about three days just playing after work. (4 hours per day) Neither one of us is to be considered great or hardcore gamers. We beat it on heroic as was the setting recommended. I thought the game was way too easy and just cranking the difficulty would not have helped much. If you just want "more halo" then buy this game immediately. If you want something new...buy Gears of War. (Even though the game is much older)
