Hello all,

first a little background. I am a fairly prominent member of www.swordforum.com, a community of sword collectors and practitioners. I have been for a long time a collector of swords, and for the last two years one who customizes and upgrades swords, specifically Japanese katana.

I have a Bamboo Snake katana I purchased with only the blade, saya, and tsuka core. The saya was the ugly green color. I sanded off the lacquer and redid the blade in a beautiful stained wood finish that is clear lacquered. The tsuka has a Paul Chen fuchi and kashira set, Fred Lohamn seppa, a new tsukamaki, and Mon coin menuki.

The Bamboo Snake katana is a limited edition piece by Paul Chen. it has a 11.5 inch tsuka core, and a 28 inch long blade.

My asking price is $625 shipped for this sword. The lowest price anywhere for this sword is $500 plus shipping on eBay. Considering the work and materials put into it, the saya, tsukamaki, menuki, fuchi, kashira, and tsuba, this is a bargain.

The first two pictures show the tsuba that is on it now, the Paul Chen Winter Bamboo tsuba. The Tsunami katana tsuba is not available.

I accept Paypal and money orders. Paypal carries no extra fee. Shipping is free in the ConUS.

I told you guys, act quick with Aaron's stuff. I always seem to take too long. I am a long time admirer of his work and have watched him come along over the last couple of years. Look for some of his hybrid polishing that really brings out the blade. He has the courage and patience to take sandpaper (and I think now trying stones) to a blade.

Had to add to your reputation, you do fine work,I really think the one you did for me is exceptional, will consider a saya to be done as this one was in the future.
