I know this isn't exactly "current" per se, however the new feature is that it is now free to play online. I'm a gamer in several senses of the term, but I have to say I was psyched about this. I'm not a fan of paying for any games that I already bought, but this is free to download and free to play. It's pretty good to me, it's set in rules 3.5, and its definitely accurate to the game in terms of what bests what (I play a human barbarian, I can tear through 50+ melee baddies like a hurricane, but get killed by a couple of sorcerers).

Anyone else played this?

I used to play DDO when you had to pay for it. Switched to LOTRO. Quit that too after a while. Tried Warhammer Online, played Everquest, WoW, Star Wars, and i don't remember what else for a while too. To me, they are all pretty much the same in the end.
