Sorry for going off topic guys...blame the spammer. :elf:
My wish list is for production swords to be freely available to import again here in the UK.
The ban on importing all modern made 'Samurai swords' has been amended from those only made in Japan to katana made in other Countries but they must have provenence that they're hand made using the traditional method and at the moment this is a bit of a grey area as far as Customs are concerned and until clarification is available in black and white,nobody is willing to risk having a sword siezed.
Hanwei and some others are available from dealers but their prices are extortionate right now. ~X(
