These are the ones I plan on trying to get ahold of soon in order.
1. Gen2 Sword of Chaos
2. Gen2 12th Century Norman
3. Winldass 15th Century Long sword
4. Cold Steel Dragonfly Katana
5. An AngelSword Broadsword

The CS Dragonfly looks beautiful but find that it is a bit too long. I cut a stick that length and tested the length according to the 'swing and see if it scrapes the ground' test and found it a bit too long.
My CS Warrior may not be as beautiful but it is the right length... though tip-heavy.

I kinda like the extra legnth. I'm not trained in traditional forms or anything so i pretty much match my swing to what I'm using (very improper I know). One I already have that I like to play with now is the Ritter Steel Great Katana
(40" blade) so I still think the Dragonfly'll be fun.

1. Starter model Katana - DONE - got my Musashi Black Dragon today!

2. Folded steel Katana - so many to select from.

3. Heavy duty cutting sword - looking at the 30" spring steel Cheness Nagasa - should however consult my instructor.

We'll see where this goes from there.

1) You can practice with them and not worry too much when you mess up and chip them.

2) With today's technology, folded steel isn't that much beetter than some of the mew super steels they make swords from (NOT stainless) so although my 19th century Folded Steel Katana is nice, it's really no better than my Cold Steel blade.

3) Cheness... I bought this on on a lark and LOVE the blade.
I think if I HAD to list my favorite Japanese swords in order:
1) Cheness Higo
2) Paul Chen Practical Plus
3) Cold Steel Warrior (only because it feel ..lifeless in my hand)
4) Last Legend Mark I (I need to rewrap the handle)
5) Kri Cutlery Model 26 (a really heavy cutter)
6) Paul Chen Practical Pro (I just don't like that 15" handle)

My European swords would be:
1) Oscar Koblomovich broadsworsd
2) Toledo Sword Company light swrord
3) Paul Chen Viking.

But I'm getting a few more in the mail soon and am hoping to sell some of them so this list will change almost monthly<g>.

I'm still waiting for my Oni and am trying to buy a Ryumon.

So one project is to buy a lot of pool noodles and make a noodle stand out of PVC pipe. Hanging them from a tree isn't what I prefer.
