View Full Version : Help finding a Japanese Basket Hat

I have been looking for what I guess would be called a basket hat, like the one worn by Ogami Itto in Lone Wolf and Cub, or by Ryunoske in Sword of Doom.

If I remember correctly, I believe mine was given to me in the 80's as a gift, [during the Shogun Assassin craze] so I have no idea how to get one.

Thanks Firhand I may pick one of those up being as they are so cheap. I'm not even sure if "basket hat" is the correct term, I suppose I could ask my auntie since she is Japanese.

Brian,At first I thought,how hard could this be.Well it wasn't easy and I don't think this is exactly what you were looking for but it's worth a shot,so go to Bokunan-Do.I think they have those figurines you where looking for to.Check out the ronin gasa there to cool. bobO

I can get Chinese ricepatty hats and coolie hats from Chinatown down here in Houston, but not Japanese. I wonder why we aint got no Japanese town here in houston.:)]
