This is going to be a full mount project and by full a mean full.
I'll be making it all ,Tsuka, saya, habaki, tsuba, fuchi, seppa, and the menuki.
Again this is for custom and production swords NOT A NIHONTO dont try to save money by trying to restore a antique blade yourself with out the proper training
Now it wont all be in this order i'll be making thing's as the material comes or when i get board and switch to a other part of the project. But as i update with new vid's ii'll organize it in this page.
So to start off on a bare blade you need the habaki if you have one that came with the sword then you can jump strait to the saya and tsuka...
If you plan on making your own habaki then this basic rundown of habaki making may help....

The next part is the saya.I used alder for the saya and tsuka.
Its a very nice wood to work with only took me 3h to carve out the wood were the blade and habaki sits. Now im working on the exterior.
