Just got my kouga in the mail today and i am very pleased with it . This sword is really really sharp , lol the cardboard box was no match . The fittings are top notch and probably the best out of all my swords . The blade fits perfectly in the saya , no rattle and easy to draw . The fittings are iron and feel great to the touch . All the kanji on the fittings are done evenly . The Tsuka is thin but wide which i like a lot . As for the ito and sageo i think they are made from synthetic silk and are both really nice . The ito is very tight and i don't see it shifting anytime soon . Now to get to the blade , its damn sharp and no imperfections at all . The hamon is very prominent and travels up onto the kissaki . Also the kissaki is tapered perfectly . The sword has a bit of weight to it but moves nicely due to a long tsuka . Blade is about 5 or 6 inches shy from the end of the saya which is accurate to what i have read on katana used by ninja . I love the look of the sword its very stealthy . I give this one a 5/5 .
