Going to my mountain house for the week-end should be an adventure 3-4 feet on the ground, - 10*F expected my kind of stuff !!!!! have my snow shoes ready and laced tight, have my new knife to do all that may arise, have my long johns warmed up by the fire, and have a fair amount of home made adult beverage on ice (in the cabin already)
will be back monday

I would of tried myself, but I doubt I could live through the shock to find out!! :hahaskull:

I like the twins. :) (I'm talking about the knives, now!:blackeye:)
BTW, what are the blade lengths and handle lengths on them? I'm just curious.

Gentlemen

i've always wanted to do that swim in an ice covered pond so i did! cut the crap outta my bare feet breaking the ice, but once in not a problem. can't hesitate just do it !! i'm told the screaming was heard two miles away !! and the twins went on sabatticul for two days !! but are back just fine.

knives blades are 5.25 in long and handles are quilted maple from a tree i cut down and maple burl that was just about punked out put some wood hardener on it and came out pretty good.

will add some more pics wednesday.

I have heard alcohol can give u a warm sensation, thats why rescue dogs use to carry brandy (I think).
