Omg, the best fps bar none. If you have any interest in this game, just buy right now. I could go on and on about the amazing graphics and sound, not to mention spot on controls (nothing new for the series) but this game MUST be experienced to be believed.

So I broke down and got Xbox Live. I have COD4 for PS3 but none of my friends own a PS3. So I got COD4 for Xbox. Who else is online and plays COD4 for Xbox or PS3? My name is TM1083 on both. Hit me up!

Yea, I got mine for Ps3...boooo! I would love to get a game going with you guys. I am in a local clan with my buddy who owns a car wash and we paly once in awhile. I am kindof a loner on these games though. I love to run and gun and rack up the kill count!

I think its better on PS3 than on Xbox. I have both. The competition is better on PS3.

I would get an Xbox 360 (if you don't already have one) there are a ton of titles for the Xbox and only a handful for the PS3

Yeah but according to an article I read in EGM the PS3 has a 0.02% failure rate while the X-Box 360 has had 33%. The games are coming I'll stick with the reliablity. I love my PS3 and my Wii but I don't see myself ever getting X-box.

The graphics on the Wii are not up to the others but for just fun playing its amazing. Me and the wife have both worn our arms out more playing tennis on Wii than the real thing. I like the way I really get to slash with my sword when I play Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I don't have as many games for Wii as PS3 yet though.

I like some of the 360's features, but I think you get more for your $ from the PS3. Free online, free blu-ray, compatible with you bluetooth phone head set, free wirless connection.

Those are all things Xbox charges you for. $50 online, $50, wireless headset, $200 for HD DVD drive, $100 wireless connection.

I have both, but the PS3 brings me more happiness.

Is there anyone playing this online? I am trying to find some friends to team up with. Seems like people play for awhile and then give up because they cannot get many kills.

It'll take some learning before you can get more kills. I would consider myself an expert player at the game, maintaining a 2.0 k/d ratio at the lowest each game I play. It's all about knowing the enemy's location and anticipating their next move(s). I find that most of the kills I get is when I'm patient and they come recklessly charging in or walking around the level. Got a 25 kill streak and the enemy team knew where I was the entire time, they just couldn't get to me (ran out of ammo, pistol killed a few guys and then stole his weapon and killed some more).

I have it on the 360 as well, although I haven't played since the new maps came out :o

has anyone beat COD4 on Vertean without the use of cheats? I have beat the main part of the game, but the bonus level on the plane is driving me nuts, I must have played it 100 times or more, there just isn't enough time to do it.

I think COD4 is the only game I ever wanted to and actually did get all the achievements for. The Mile High Club will take you several tries to complete, took me about an hour even after I got the path down

Wish I did, I don't even have a PS3 :( I'm looking to get that Paul Chen sword before I get a PS3 and don't work many hours to afford both anytime soon.

The only reason I got it for ps3 instead of 360 is because iI didn't preorder and they were out of the 360 version. Oh well. I wish I could play with people I know, but it doesn't seem like it will happen.
