Hi everyone... I need some advice on the best way to display a pair of chrome Sai..:)

I only have a few blades so i want to have them displayed in there own corner

I dont like the idea of just banging a few nails into a wall to display weapons of any discription:)... Any help you can give is deeply appreciated

Thanks for any help

Have fun, Stay safe!

Not sure about a corner I prefer to display mine like this:

Well I've wondered this myself, always given up on being creative and just broke out the wall hooks. But you could drill two slanted holes in a piece of 4x4 or something along those lines. Did see some on a wall plaque at a fair once just don't remember how they did it, wooden dowels in the plaque I would assume.

Thanks bobO your suggestion of the angled dowels has given me an idea . if it turns out ok I will post it with yourself on the credits

Thanks mate:writing:

Yeah it was done last weekend. One of my best models yet for this kind of thing. Flexible and not afraid shes going to fall over.

Actually she is the reason i even have the sais. I handed her a sword for some photos one time and she said "You know I like Electra's weapon in Daredevil."

I would say the photos done with your wife were some of your best work artisticly, like real world interpertations of Heavy Metal magazine covers. :ohyeah:
Where was this taken? Under a bridge?
I would try to work more with the shadows to give this picture a better effect, the shadows are working against you and not for you in this picture.

Unlike swords, there really is no actual "proper" way to display sai's. So you are pretty much free to design whatever you wish, although mounting them on a wall plaque would work the best for mounting and movement later on. Instead of dowels you could also make mini sheaths.
Lay the sais on the plaque in the desired position. Then take leather strips maybe 2" X 1" and staple them to the plaque at the hilts of the sai's. With this method they won't fall off the plaque, you will have to unsheath them.

Been awhile since I've seen you anywhere.
Of course, that could be because I've had to withdraw from here and there and only recently able to get back.
Missed the wife-pic. removed I guess. But I seem to recall that you are a very lucky guy in that dept.!!!

Don't suppose you are going to the CombatCon this month in Vegs?
