Well,....... it might of been "rough weekend monday",some people might have had hangovers??=(
I myself spent the day meditating.@-)

I used to meditate...I loved the feeling of taking all the cares of the world and putting them away. Now if I close my eyes, I see computer screens and swords...I guess it could be worse.

Don't worry, I got volumes of stuff to talk about. I bring it out slowly so I don't flood the forum in one shot. This way people have time to digest it and discuss it.
I took a look at you sword store webpage to see how good that might be at bringing in new people. At a quick glance I could not see a link to the forum. I though the main webpage was a bit busy. So much to see, that you don't really see anything... if that makes sense.

What sword page tsafa? Not really sure....

http://www.swordsofmight.com/
I just think its a little too busy. Everything on there is good, but I fear it is more then the average person will absorb. Too much info at once can be overwhelming. Kind of like going into a big department store and not knowing where to start.
I do not see a link to the forum anywhere.

Oh, ok. The site has no choice but to be busy. We carry a lot of products in alot of different categories. Most people really love the usability of our site and the ease of finding what they are looking for. The link to the forum is under our banner.

Actually, the main page of swordsofmight.com isn't bad in from the web design point of view. I actually did a paper for one of my design classes comparing this site to another, and pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of both, and the biggest strength of swordsofmight.com was its clean, professional looking main page. It isn't too busy (check out other sites like kingofswords.com) from a web designer's view only because it could be much worse.
Oh, and the link to the forum is in the top menu... it does blend in a little too well though.

Thanks for the input guys as I always look forward to it good or bad. I am sure many of you older members remember when I was first putting up the site. I asked everyday "how do you like it?" Most would say "very nice" and then I would change it. (Repeat ad nauseum) I will try to find a way to make the forum link more pronounced.

You know what website I hate the design of?
http://www.globalgear.com.au/
Everything is too categorized. I like the ability to open up a broad selection of products at once and just scroll down the list until something catches my eye. Global Gear narrows everything to a point that an electron microscope couldn't pick up on. I wound up with so many tabs open that it took up most of my browser. I shudder to think of someone with Internet Explorer having to deal with 75+ windows open at once just to see their katana selection. And god forbid you want to see a picture...

I had seven active windows open at once, and that was a pain. I hate to see someone navigate 75+ windows.

I rather like it the way it is. I still get to the forum through the store front anyway since I knew the store site before I ever knew there was a forum. I hate trying to remember a bunch of sites so I just learn places I already use to get to the links.

I love this site;I've learned more here than I probably even know, especially direction for more complete information!Everyone is helpful, courteous, and kind;that means much to me.
I would post more if I had more time-which I will at some point. But I read here EVERY day.Thank you all.

I found the forum through the store, I thought it was easy to find. I come to the forum several times a day and read the new posts, like Tony, I really look forward to the postings and feel a certain kinship with the people on here.

To me, you guys are the best! I also enjoy reading each and every post and pay for this forum (even though there are free ones) because I like the ease of use. (Even though there were some grumblings from the "old timers" ;))

I quite like this forum. I didn't get much use on the old forum, but I was there. This one just seems, I don't know, much nicer.
