Hi Mick,
Yeah unfortunately my camera doesn't take pics good enough to see them..it's by one of the newer kami's Lachhu I believe...It came from the first day of X-mas sale, Miss Yangdu has had a couple of really nice items up this year...

well at least they don't pretend that it's historically accurate, and they're the frist to say it's not....but hey, I bet you can chop down more trees with a HI Katana than you can with a Japanese one...

Maybe you guys can help me?
What I am looking for is an "authentic" japanese made (by a japanese smith) version of a Nepalese kukri.
It has to be a folded blade with a prominent Hamon. :ohyeah:
I read somewhere that Musashi had one of these as a backup weapon.
I've got a goat I've got to sacrifice for the upcoming New Year's Ceremony and I need a special blade that will remove it's head in one cut.
No buckets or trees for me!
Hey!!!
I was thinking of starting a new fad!!!
Smashing water bottles in my back yard with a mace!!! :mace:
You know something simple you can do with the kids, friends and family!
"Can 'YOU' be a backyard basher???" :flaming:

I hear that the only place you can get a authentic Japanese kurkri is by going to downtown Detroit but these days you need a army of ninjas just to get there...then you have to find a non-illegal alien named Bob and ask him to take you to the master bladesmith named Rhinehold from Tijuana....Rhinehold will take you to a super secret sub-sub-basement under the Henry Ford museum...where a clone of Henry Ford has been crossed with the DNA of Hattori Hanzo and is producing the only american made car in the world...since those wont sell they started making kurkris on the side.
Water jug smashing Yeah!!!! I've got the mace to do it...look out water jugs of the world

Did I hear someone mention Milk Jug Mashing? :)
Now that's something I've always been into! :>
But I was talking about water bottle bashing. :mace:
I bet we could talk Firehand into making a few videos for us! :ohyeah:
The water bottle bashing that is, =) although I wouldn't doubt he has some milk jug mashing ones somewhere either. ;)
