Snake Odachi

Hello, this is my first post on the S.O.M forum and, if i may say, this is a wonderful site:) but i digress...

As you may have guessed from the aforementioned subject i would like to inquire about the "Snake Odachi" regarding it's functionality, that is to say can it cut Tameshigiri?

It can be used for cutting. It is not as good as the handmade odachi, but it is functional. :)

i wouldn't have thought that that was the case...... thank you for the info:) and secondly i know this might be a stupid question but is the blade folded steel?

P.S. I just can't get over the fact that this site feels like a community! Its so ,for lack of a STRONGER term, invigorating!

The blade is not folded...
