Thats nuthin, I remember playing frogger on a TRS-80. The games were loaded by a cassette tape. You would press play and the game would load. We used to go out for the day and come back and the game would finally be loaded...Games on the TRS80 made the commodore look like a neo geo!

Guys I got you all beat , I remember when pong came out. Before that the nearest thing to a video game was finding an old TV, and seeing who could break the screen with a brick. Now that was interactive.

I remember Pong, to actually be able to play a game on your TV set. If you would have told me then, what video games would look like now, I would have never of believed it. I wonder what things [games] will look like 30 years from now.:-?

I let the kids have grandpa's Atari set-up. It still worked, but after they got bored with it, it went to another home. Tank Battle was fun...but missle defense was the favorite.

That would be very intersting Jason :o I haven't heard of any ideas like that being tossed around in regards to Megaman and I believe it would work very well. Although the 1st person aspect of it might be a difficult obstacle. Megaman is a platforming game after all and FPS and platforming never really has gone together too well. Take something like Super Mario 64 and replace Mario with Megman, give him his weapons and that would be interesting (although 3rd person).

use the game engine from ratchet and clank to redo a megaman platformer
