Hi all..1st post here, been lurking for awhile and just wanted to add that there is a TV show called Top 10 Kung Fu Weapons where The Flying Guillotine is re-created and tested..its number 1 on the list! Given its ranking,the degree of difficulty in using this weapon was very high, no wonder it has achieved legendary status!

Swordboy,

After being a moderator on the SBG Forum and hosting your own, I would of thought you too busy to come back, and post here.
With your own experience since leaving us, of dealing with unruly or rude posters, you now know firsthand, how exasparating this can be.
Experience is often a hard teacher, and experience is often the name we give our mistakes.

I might be thinking of a different movie ..... "the one armed boxer and the master of the flying guillotine" ...... awesome funny movie it had this indian guy with stretching arms and a prehistoric blind guy with the flying guillotine ..... the blood was so over the top and looked like tomato juice

'The One Armed Boxer vs. the Master of the Flying Guillotine' and 'the Master of the Flying Guillotine' are the same movie.
There was another movie 'the Flying Guillotine' that was sort of the prequel to the above.
It was about the original assassination corp that was created by the Ming Dynasty, that used the flying guillotine as a terror weapon against the Ching rebels (good guys).

I'd love to see a remake of either movie ...... same "wire-fu" that made crouching-tiger-hidden-dragon and house-of-flying-daggers so famous and modern C.G.I. to make the flying guillotine look more alive

Man, This really takes me back to the day! I used to like the "ranger" movies. These guys went around with butterfly knives tearing it up! Wish I could remember the names of these old jewels. NYC was THE only place to watch these flicks, the brothers always made it fun.

Dotanuki;
I thought "marriage" is the name we give our mistakes.....leastways that's what I call my mistakes ;)
on a more serious note; unruly and rude posters is the reason I post in forums like this with actual, double rectified, gen-yoo-wine mature adult folkses.....and why I stay away from them other ones

I saw a show about this and other obscure weapons can't remember the name of it .... but it was good .... is there any examples of originals or historic references of this weapon
