I was wondering when you might be getting this in. I have been eyeing it for some time now. Is the tsuba painted as pictured or is it all black? I believe all black is the way it is sold on Musashi's site.

I think it comes in both black and a colored version... but i could be wrong.

Our version (the only one available as far as I am aware) is colored as in the picture.

Very nice. I have been looking for this version for a while. Musashi only sells one with the all black tsuba. If they do sell another version then they have been holding out on me ^_^.

Zim;

I went to Musashi's Site and theirs looks to be the same.

Actually, their tsuba looks copperish, ours is jet black. I don't know. We get them from the same place and as far as I know, there is only one version of that piece.

I think the version count for this model is at three now, with the last one being very similar to this only the tsuba was bronze or copper colored. The one pictured on the musashi website is the one I'm talking about. For some reason they decided to stop selling that one and went back the the jet balck version, without changing the pictures(/pointless rant). This is by far the best version I have seen.

Just like me, Musashi Swords doesn't have a choice as to which "version" they have as we both buy them from the same place (The real Musashi Swords) and they only have one version to buy. So in summary, the maker has changed the tsuba in the past.
