OMG, that is a beautiful work of art, I love it:-O. When you see that friend of yours, ask them where they got it, my girlfriend loves Japanese artwork.

I *think* it's called 'Mokume-gane',the dark metal is called 'Shakudo' which is an alloy of Copper and Gold [approx 3-5% Gold normally] but please don't quote me on that bobO because I'm not sure.;)

Thats stinks, or well if Im ever in Japan, Ill look it up. I love the Japanese, mostly the girls though, lol.

Well put it up in another forum and the expert opinion is ,it's a picture of a dragon.And I take bad pictures.

Well now that you metion it, the lighting could be better. You could probably rotate it 2 degrees clockwise too. Also I think the dragon has red eye. :))
