This is an incredible book, tons of information on Nihonto Swords. What, when, why, how, who, anything you could want to know about the history of the Japanese Sword. I haven't finished all of it yet, but I feel confident in saying anyone who wants to start collecting Nihonto, or just has an appreciation for the Japanese Sword should buy this book.

Thanks for the info Brian. I'm an avid reader, especially when it has to do with swords.

Thanks for posting this one Brian, this book was one of the first things I purchased when I finally decided to take the plunge on real Nihonto. As most of us know when starting out collecting the most sage advice I heard ( from more than one source) was "Take that first sword money...and invest it in BOOKS' Learn, learn,....then learn more , and that first non-impulsive purchase you will appreciate MORE. An excellent resource..Thanks again Brian KK
