Today I had an idea that might help people. tell how your user name is said so people can get it right. To say Sairon you would say it s-air-on.

My last name is often pronounced Bra zier like womans undergarments, I am happy with Brazsher, but it is really French and is pronounced Bray zyay I believe, maybe one of our neighbors to the north who lives in French Canada can verify that. I think Brazier is French for BBQ, and that is why I believe it appears on the Dairy Queen sign.

Taygrd is the only name that would work on eBay when I joined it back in 01'. It was short for Taylor Grounds Management. Try to keep the names the same so I can keep up with them. I sold the business back in 04' and I never want to cut grass commerically again. Worked 76 hours a week at the FD then another 36 running the company. Pronounced however you can get it out. Tay-grrrrrrd

Brian, they have Dairy Queen in WA? Is it the same as the Texas burger joint?

Bob OOOOOOOOOO Huh? The legend begins!

Fire hand the rest is silent. Picked it up in college while playing pranks with a lighter and a can of lysol spray. Blue flames enulffing your hand is really cool if you-
1. put the lysol on thick.
2. Shake it out within 40 seconds.:flaming:
3. Don't mind the scent of burnt hair and lysol mixed :-<

Thanks Brian,
Now you know how limited my travel is. Every one horse town in Texas has a DQ but I did not know they had them out of state.

Brazier was also the name given to a tin plate worker Brian...

...maybe this is the origin as many people were known by their occupation just like Smith,Carpenter,Cooper etc etc.

The funny thing about DQ in small town Texas is that they are the social gathering place. Everybody goes there, especially after church on Sundays. The town I live in has gotten big so the DQ has lost it's prestige and we even got a Starbucks=). You go to a hole in the wall like Archer City Texas (where they filmed Last Picture Show)and the menu has all sorts of things you will not find elsewhere. Strange little place, nice to fly over but you would not want to stop there. Okay enough about DQ, sorry for the diegression. Cool post, now I know how to say your names.

My name is never spoken aloud. The Y,A,S, and O are all silent.

If you were to try to pronounce it though, it would sound like "Yah-zoh"

The one who's name shall not be spoken. I was wondering what happened to you! How is you? ps, I thought taygrd was some mighty celtic warriors name, go figure!

I was working mostly, barely had time to sleep much less anything else. I just quit that dead end job though. I'll be around a little bit more now.

Working 7 days a week for 5 months straight really helps you appreciate time off that would otherwise be taken for granted. I'm going to take a month of R&R before I start working again.

"Cold sake always tastes better after a hard day's work"
So much truth in those words.

You're not really old enough for sake, cold or otherwise are you?

Yaso

Not really, but the words still hold truth. If you work hard for something you tend to appreciate it a lot more.

Also, it wasn't that long ago that the legal drinking age was 18. :lager:

You're right, actually it's rare for someone to appreciate something they didn't work hard for.
