Hey guys, havent been on in a while, good to see all of you. I was wandering if any of yo have any sites where they sell quality Japanese wares? Im looking for some cool sake bottles, a straw hat, and I think they're called keigo jackets, what you where with hakama. I think someone has mentioned the straw hat before. I just bought some hakama pants, tabi socks, and straw zori sandals off ebay. They got here really quick and they fit great! The black hakama are so fun to where, I even wore them to school yesterday. Btw, Jason, cool new SOM design, was a little thrown off when I first saw it. What made you decided to chage it?

One quick question. After I stared at the black figure on the home page of SOM, I realized that it looks like Tom Cruise on Last Samurai where he is practicing with a katana outside the house during sunset. Is that him or just a coincidence that it looks exactly like him? Just curious and had to ask.

The last place I bought a sake set from was World Market. Here is a link with four sets.

They have a good variety of Japanese style ceramic wares. I bought the Lotus Floral.

Yep, I sure did. I also wore the tabi socks and straw zori sandals with it. Yeah, I got alot of weird stares, but my friends thought it was cool. I knew I was going to have a few people be smart with me, but thats just life. It was fun though, some people wanted to ware them.

It is the bowl used in the tea ceremony to drink the matcha tea. They are very revered and very pricey.

They have not been discontinued so far, but not sure what the manufacturer is doing.

K, thanks. I bought my hakama off ebay from a seller called karatecollectibles. It was a pleasure doing business with him. Unfortunately, I bought mine a little to big and the bottom of the pant legs droop on the floor and become dirty easily. I need to go to the same buyer and ask for a smaller size. My hakama are black, what color are yours Bobo? Lol, as a matter of fact, Im wearing them right now.
