Well my old Muay Thai coach was one of the coaches from the German olympic team or something like that. Armando Chevaro was his name. Typical short 60 year old guy who could hand your a$$ to you before you could blink.

Way back, I fought 3 full contact matches, started at 38 yrs old. Lost two won one. I had to do it since I was training fighters. My sparring instructor was once rated 5th full contact heavyweight. I am much smaller. Terry Sako was his name. Don't know where he is now. Over 25 years ago, when things first started.

I trained for 3 yrs under Benny Meng in Wing Tsun. Additionally, I've trained under Matt Molicca in Shuai-Chiao for about 4 yrs.

Stitch,

You might want to reread your signature, with the bold type, it is the first thing that jumps out at you with every post.

But "Thing" was my favorite character from The Addams Family.... B-)
(I'm glad YOU pointed it out, Dotanuki. I hate playing the grammar/spelling nazi all the time - it's exhausting.)

I'm afraid I don't follow... "thing"?... "Addams Family"?... "The"?...

Travis, did you see the 51 year old guy fight Royce. He only lasted 3 minutes ( 2mins 45secs longer then I would have) but he put up a good fight.

Was it recent? I have not seen Royce fight in a long time. I'll look into it :)

HELL yeah! Thats awesome... I want pics... I want video... I want to be you! :) I'm a huge fan of Sean Sherk... and Lil' Evil is awesome also.

I'm a fan of MMA... I never had a chance to train MMA or with anyone who was a pro fighter... but when I was younger I trained Kenpo, Kung Fu and Judo for about 5 years. I used to go to full contact tournaments up in Oakland CA. (I lived in Monterey CA at the time)

MMA wasn't really known back then... not publicly anyway. The Gracies and the UFC had not really made a splash yet. However... with the grappling of Judo and the Kung Fu and Kenpo I felt like I had a good mix of styles at the time.

I wanted to train Jujitsu with a guy in my area... he was a very skilled jujitsu player... but there was a personality conflict, I just didn't like him. He was kinda a dick... so I couldn't bring myself to do it.

I have not actively trained for over 13 years now... but I'm thinking about getting back into it.

I just ran across it while cruising the Tubes. Dual-knockouts and an understandably confused Ref.

Shadowhowler
March 26th, 2009, 12:06 PM
I saw that double knockout on Inside MMA awhile back... I LOVE HDnet because I get a metric *** load of free MMA on it... woo hoo! The 'ref' was Shonie Carter, 'Mr. International'... an MMA fighter with a LOT of fights in his record, well over 50.

I've seen one or two other double knockouts, but THAT one was the best.
