I recently picked up this title at Overstock, I had not heard of it before, but it won several awards at the Toronto Film Festival, and the Seattle Film Festival, so I figured it can't be that bad. The story is of two rival Shinobi Ninja clans, that have had a peace treaty for many years, but that all changes when Hattori Hanzo calls them to perform their skills. This is a visually stunning movie, with great special effects. Each of the characters has a special power, and some are very cool. The fight scenes are well thought out, and very intense. If you are a fan of Ninja or Samurai films I think you will really enjoy this one

Not a bad movie. It is one of the best ninja movies I've seen in a while. I tried watching Basilisk before I saw this movie, but it bored me so I gave up=(

I think this movie was incredible! I seen it at circuit city and remembered your recommendation, so I picked it up. This was one of the most enjoyable movies in recent memory. Thank you so much. Do you know of any other movies that are made by this company or like this one?

I just ordered Shinobi No Mono, from what I have read and heard that is really good. Red Shadow is suppose to be another good Ninja movie, I have it but the disk was scratched so I am waiting for a replacement. Shadow Hunters 1 & 2 are Samurai movies that incorporate Ninja Spies, these are both high action, allot of blood, decapitation's, allot like Shogun Assassin

I severely dislike the actor who played Jubei Yagyu in Shinobi:HuB.
He looked like a girl. A really ugly girl. With no lines.

I can kinda see what you mean, he was the strong silent type. But his lady was a smokin hottie

Are you talking about the lead role? That was Gennosuke.
Yagyu Munenori conspired with Tenkai and Hanzo; and Jubei was just his faithful lapdog.
Gennosuke, on the otherhand; was pretty cool. I'm just upset it didn't have a happier ending.
