About reputation

Here is the lowdown on the reputation thingy:

Each person has the ability to give reputation. I have given old forum guys more reputation to start based on the old karma system. (Which I will rename Karma when I find out how) You may give 1 point of rep (Rep power) per day to any member by clicking the "rep" button on any of their posts. (You may also take it away) You may also leave a comment as to why you have done either. Please let me know if there are any questions. You may view a users reputation by mousing over the little green thing under "rep power". More green things will accrue and change color as you get higher or lower rep. Any questions?

Reputation is for when you like something, like when Bob-O posts sumthing funny and you like it a lot or Taygrd just made a awsome new knife. it's basically like congradulating.

I think that if someone takes away rep' they should at least have the courage to leave a comment as to why but if they state who they are,a 'tit for tat' situation could develop and that can only be bad for the whole forum IMHO.

I have never given anyone negative rep, but you can have some good rep on me!

I almost gave bobo bad rep once, but I figured he already had enough! :blackeye:=))

Hey, I just gave you a rep, for a great post, what's the problem? Went into a bar I got kicked out of 18 years ago last week, and they would'nt even serve me a soda, talk about a bad rep!
