Why is it so quiet lately? out in the freash air and sunshine of summer? Get back in the house ,clean and oil your blades!! it's hummid outside!! Think about adding a new tsuba to your favorite sword, go and cut something up!,add a new seago to sumptin, geez do i gotz to tell youz what to do on your summer dayz????

It's been raining out for the past week and will continue to rain :( I'm not going to cut outside on wet grass no matter how badly I want to. I only have one sword and I like everything about it so I'm not going to be changing anything about it :p

Goose - what are you doing?

I myself am getting a PPK tomorrow - can't wait to see how that compares to my PPXLLK - might post a comparision of the two later on in the week after I get a chance to cut to see how much of a difference a performance blade makes for the untrained joe.

Ah, a very valid reason :) The summer will really be the only time I have to use any swords seeing how the rest of the year I'm at college and they don't allow such weapons on campus :(

By the By, how far are you from fred lohmans store?
it has been pretty quiet on the forum lately i guess people are out enjoying the summer sun an fun.
Been working and crewsing the sword sites in Japan again, it's an addiction now gotta check myself into the nihonto rehab house!!

I am about 2.5 hours from Lohman's Store. I don't know if he has an actual storfront cause it has been a while since I have been down to Oregon, and the last time was a late night run for everclear :lager: #-o, I won't be doing that anytime soon.

what do you mean by UBC member? this intruiges me because the only UBC i know of around me is University of British Columbia that wouldn't happen to be the UBC you're speaking of is it Brian?

UBC refers to the Youtube group that menukisan from this forum created. Menukisan (Jonislow) started the group about a month back for what he calls "backyard cutters" - the people that have a passion for the sword arts (pro or joe) that like to cut with them on their own time (basically a hobby..an expensive one though ;) ).
