Did some research on them a while back he did a Danish ax I was interested in...from what I could find out, they are blunt and a bit on the heavy side. I believe they are primarily marketed to renactors. There was at least one person selling them on Ebay but I do not know if there still is. I ended up getting the Deepeka knock off of the axe as it was quite a bit cheaper and to me just as good.

just checked the guy is still on ebay but only has 3 items by John Barnett
